Beginner Piano – Group B **STEP UP APPROVED** Thursdays | 2:10–3:10 PM Start Date: March 5, 2026 Last Class: April 23, 2026 Duration: 8-week session Course Description This small-group beginner piano class is designed for students who are brand new to the keyboard or need a gentle, structured introduction. Lessons focus on building confidence, coordination, and musical understanding in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Students will explore the layout of the keyboard, learn proper finger numbers, develop basic rhythm skills, and begin playing simple melodies. Emphasis is placed on listening, repetition, and hands-on practice rather than memorization or performance pressure. Each week, students receive a printed lesson plan to place in their personal piano binder (binder provided). These weekly lesson sheets help reinforce concepts at home and allow families to track progress over time. This course lays a strong foundation for continued piano study and prepares students for the next level of instruction. What Students Will Learn Keyboard layout and note groups Finger numbers and hand positioning Basic rhythm and note recognition Playing simple melodies with confidence Listening and practice skills for beginners Enrollment Policy: Enrollment closes 7 days before the start date. A minimum of 3 participants is required. If the minimum is not met, families may transfer to a future session or receive a full refund.

Enrollment & Participation Policy All classes and clubs at Charlotte Cornerstone are small-group enrichment experiences. • Enrollment is required in advance • Spaces are limited and filled on a first-come basis • Payment is due upon confirmation of enrollment Cancellations & Missed Sessions • Clubs and classes are non-refundable once the program begins • Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or credited • If a class must be canceled by the instructor, families will be notified promptly and a make-up or credit will be provided when applicable Drop-Off & Pick-Up • This is a drop-off program unless otherwise stated • Parents must follow all drop-off and pick-up instructions • Late pick-ups may result in additional fees Safety & Conduct • Families must complete required liability and emergency contact forms prior to participation • Students are expected to follow basic safety and behavior guidelines • Repeated unsafe behavior may result in removal from the program without refund Media & Communication • Photos may be taken for educational and promotional purposes with parent consent • Important updates are communicated via email
