Some Charlotte Cornerstone programs are held in a gated residential home (Cobblestone Lane). When applicable, the following arrival and safety guidelines apply.

To ensure the safety of our students and families, we follow specific arrival and departure guidelines when programs are held at a private location.

These guidelines are designed to create a calm, organized experience for everyone and help classes start and end smoothly.

Arrival & Pick-Up — Park or Rented Facility

For larger classes, clubs, or special events held at a park or rented recreational facility, families arrive directly at the designated location shared in advance.

• Families arrive directly at the designated facility or meeting location
• Parking is available on site
• Drop-off and pick-up occur at the facility entrance or designated meeting point
• No QR code or gated access is required
• Instructors will meet students at the designated location

Specific arrival and dismissal instructions are always provided prior to each session or event.

Initial Tour

For programs held at a private indoor location, families are encouraged to schedule a brief introductory meeting prior to the first session.

This meeting allows us to:

  • Review arrival and departure expectations

  • Answer questions about the specific program

  • Ensure families feel comfortable and prepared

Families who do not attend an introductory meeting will still receive written arrival instructions prior to their first session.

QR Code Check-In

For programs held at a private location, families may be provided with temporary access instructions for scheduled sessions.

These access methods:

  • Are issued per family

  • Are valid only for scheduled program times

  • Expire after the session or event

Drop-off Rules

The following drop-off guidelines apply only to programs held at a private indoor location:

Families should arrive no more than 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Parking rules:

  • No parking is permitted directly in front of the home

  • Families may either:

    • Complete a quick drop-off (child escorted to instructor)

    • Park in the designated visitor lot near the front entrance and walk to the home if staying for the duration

If using quick drop-off:

  • Escort your child to the designated drop-off area

  • Do not block traffic

  • Exit the community promptly after drop-off or park in the visitor's lot and remain in your vehicle until pick-up

Pick-up Rules

Pick-up follows the same parking and access rules as drop-off.

  • Parents should arrive on time

  • Children are released only to approved adults

  • QR code access must be active for pick-up

  • ID may be requested for student release when necessary

Late pick-ups may result in additional fees or restrictions on future participation.

Contact

Parents are asked to remain reachable during class hours.

  • Instructors have access to emergency contact information

  • Parents may receive a call or text if needed

  • If contacting outside of regular hours, responses may be delayed

Program Locations

Charlotte Cornerstone programs are offered in multiple settings to best support each activity.

• Smaller enrichment classes and clubs are typically held at a private indoor location.
• Larger classes, clubs, or special events are held at a separate rented indoor facility at a local park, approximately 3.7 miles from our home, to allow for appropriate space, movement, and participation.

The specific location for each class, club, or event is clearly communicated to enrolled families in advance.
